CCPS Release Notes - August 2026 (v3.4.0)

The CCPS Team is excited to share what we’ve been working on for the August 25, 2026 release. This update introduces foundational capabilities for bulk course editing, improves reporting and table navigation, enhances responsive design and accessibility, and resolves issues across placement requests, course management, user accounts, and dashboards.

Improvements

Bulk Course Editing

• Updated the page interface, toolbar, and navigation for bulk course editing.

• Updated the editable tables with inline editing, column sorting, and keyboard accessibility.

  

Reports and Tables

• Reports are now organized alphabetically in the Reports menu for easier navigation.
• Enhanced table filtering with filter panels, removable filter pills, and a Clear all action.
• Improved pagination for navigating large datasets.

School User and Administrative Workflows

• Enhanced instructor management and modal workflows.
• Streamlined School User screens, reports, and Manage Courses tables.

• Updated the global application footer for consistent navigation

  

Responsive Design and Accessibility

• Improved page-width behavior across different screen sizes and browser window widths.
• Enhanced keyboard focus indicators for the CCPS logo.
• Improved multi-level breadcrumb navigation and screen-reader accessibility.
• Refreshed the login hero image as part of the ongoing visual design update.

Bug Fixes

Placement Requests and Scheduling

• Resolved an error when navigating to the Assigned section under Placement Requests.
• Corrected date ordering in the Placement Schedule widget.
• Restored filtering, export, and table settings controls across placement views.

Navigation and Menu Usability

• Restored the ability to resize the primary navigation sidebar by dragging its edge.
• Resolved an issue where multiple primary navigation items could appear active simultaneously.
• Restored the School details and Onboarding links in Primary Navigation.

Course Management

• Fixed clickable fields and table columns so they reliably open the related detail view.
• Added missing hover states to course management rows and actions.
• Prevented blank required fields from being saved.

User Management, Security, and Account Access

• Resolved an issue that caused newly created MyCCPS accounts to be marked as expired prematurely.
• Fixed an access issue affecting the table settings button for School Users.
• Improved session-timeout handling, MFA banner alignment, and administrator password update flows.

Dashboard and Visual Feedback

• Fixed dropdown and keyboard navigation behavior that reset list selections unexpectedly.
• Corrected second-link execution using Tab and Enter in three-level breadcrumb trails.
