CCPS Release Notes - July 2024 (v.2.2.4)

Introduction

This release implements improvement to the user interface and streamlined workflows for managing students, instructors, preceptors and courses. In addition, the interface for generating reports was updated with instructions and a logical flow to guide users through the process.

Overview

New Features

All Users

  • Filter panels utilize plus and minus symbols and display the text “Show filters” or “Hide filters”.
  • Left-hand navigation menu includes font sizes and symbols to guide users through the hierarchy and clarify which items can be expanded or collapsed.
  • Reports include step-by-step instructions for choosing filter options and generating data exports.

School Users

Enhancements

Improved User Interface to Manage Students, Courses and Preceptors

Based on collaboration with user experience designers, the interfaces for managing students, courses and preceptors were updated to streamline workflows. The same functions are present, but are easier to navigate. 

  • Add one or import multiple students from an Excel file.
  • Add one or import multiple preceptors from an Excel file.
  • Add courses.
  • Search for a student, course, or preceptor.
  • Filter students by cohort and/or MyCCPS Status.
  • If your school uses MyCCPS, send invitation emails to students through CCPS or share the invitation code.
  • Download a list of students, preceptors, or courses that have been added to CCPS.

Improved User Interface to select options for reports

  • Reports include step-by-step instructions for choosing required and optional selections to generate data exports.

Bug Fixes

  • Students and Instructors were not receiving the invitation emails for MyCCPS. This bug has been fixed. A reminder that the invitation code for each school can also be shared with students or instructors directly.
