CCPS Release Notes - June 2024 (v.2.2.3)

Introduction

This release implements the in-demand feature for copying placement requests. Enhancements improve user interfaces and streamline workflows. Two bugs impacting Provider Users were resolved.

New Features

Copy a Placement Request

School Users can now copy a placement request. After clicking on copy, the placement request wizard will open and include the request details from the original request.

• School users can edit information excluding the rotation period and placement type.
• The copied request can be submitted to the same provider or a different provider in the last step.
• The copied request will be given a new Placement Request ID number. 

Enhancements 

Labels for Steps to Create a Placement Request

• When School Users are creating new placement requests, the wizard now includes labeled tabs that identify the three steps in the process.

Improved User Interface to Manage Instructors

Based on collaboration with user experience designers, the interface for managing instructors was updated to streamline workflows. The same functions for managing instructors are present, but are easier to navigate.

• Add one instructor or import multiple instructors from an Excel file.
• If your school uses MyCCPS, send invitation emails through CCPS or share the invitation code.
• Download a list of instructors that have been added to CCPS.

Bug Fixes

Create a Location and Availability at the Same Time

Provider Users can now add a Location and create an Availability for that location at the same time with one Save. Previously, an error occurred if the Location was not saved before creating an Availability.

Assign Shifts to Multiple Availabilities

When Provider Users assign cohort placements, they will no longer lose selections if they select a shift in the availability grid at the top and scroll to the bottom of the table to make additional shift selections. Previously, the shift selection at the top of the table was removed when the list was long.

Provider Users and School Users are impacted by the changes.
