Creating and Managing Clinical Requirements

Providers can add Clinical Requirements to CCPS for students and instructors to complete before the start of their assigned rotation. Each standard or custom Clinical Requirement added can be supplemented with instructions and any relevant attachments, like forms to complete or handouts to review.

Once Clinical Requirements have been added for your site, each of your affiliated schools will be able to view the requirements and download attachments. When a Student and Instructor are assigned to a rotation at your site, the school will use this listing to attest to student compliance.

 

Adding Standard Clinical Requirements

1. From the left-hand menu, use the drop-down to select the Rotation Period and Provider. The selected rotation period will be applied across all modules and screens.

2. Navigate to Provider Details > Clinical Requirements

3. Navigate to the Provider Requirements tab

4. Select + Add Standard Requirement

5. Within the pop-up window, select the Requirement(s) that you'd like to add, then click Save. Any Standard Requirements already added will not be shown in this list.

  • Tip: Use Control+Click to select multiple Requirements

6. The selected Requirement(s) will now be visible on the Provider Requirements tab. From there, find your newly added Requirements in the table and manage their details. Review the following articles for more information.

Adding Custom Clinical Requirements

1. From the left-hand menu, use the drop-down to select the Rotation Period and Provider. The selected rotation period will be applied across all modules and screens.

2. Navigate to Provider Details > Clinical Requirements

3. Navigate to the Provider Requirements tab

4. Select + Add Custom Requirement if the requirement to add is not found on the Standard Requirements list

5. In the pop-up window, complete the required fields for the Custom Requirement, then click Save

  • Select a Category
  • Enter a name for the requirement in the Clinical Requirement Name field
  • Select who the Requirement applies to: Students only, Instructors only, or both Students & Instructors
  • Include optional Instructions to guide students or instructors through completing the requirement
  • Select any optional Tags to add extra fields or requirements
