Create New Placement Requests for Nursing Cohorts and Allied Health 1. From the left navigation, select the Rotation Period and School from the drop-down menu. The Rotation Period filter will apply to all modules and screens. 2. Under Placement Requests, choose Create Requests3. The selected Rotation Period will match the Rotation Period at the top of the navigation menu. To create a Placement Request for a different Rotation Period, click the dropdown menu arrow to select another Rotation Period. 4. Choose New Placement Request5. Under the General information section, choose Nursing - Cohort or Allied Health - Clinical from the drop-down menu for Placement Type, then choose the appropriate Program Type 6. Complete the required fields under Department and course. Selecting a Course will auto-populate the Student Level and Required Clinical Hours per Student fields. The Preferred Department field is optional and depends on what a provider offers. 7. Under Schedule preference, indicate your requested number of days per week, and click each selection for your preferred shifts and days. Comments can be added on the next page if there are any specific requests. 8. Under Placement request duration, enter the start and end dates for this placement. The end date can extend past the selected rotation period, however, availability will only be matched for the selected rotation period. 9. Under Matching providers, click the Check Providers button to search for availability with your Providers. CCPS will display the Providers / hospitals with matching availability to your preferencesIf no providers are found, try adjusting your Schedule preferences or Experience Type. You can also run an Availability Grid report before creating a request to see which shifts and days are available then match your request to those availabilities. 10. Click Next: Choose Matching Providers to continue creating your request11. On the next page, check the box for the Provider you wish to submit a request with. 12. Within the request for the selected Provider, enter a custom Group Name, enter the number or Requested Students or use the increase/decrease buttons, and select a designated Instructor for this placement13. (Optional) Click the Add Comment button to include any information helpful for the Provider, such any other preferences or requests. This comment will be visible to both the Provider and your School.14. (Optional) Click the Add Request button to create an additional request at the same Provider, if needed. 15. Click Submit16. Review the details of your request(s) for accuracy, then click Submit Request. A confirmation pop-up will display the Request ID(s) for tracking purposes throughout CCPS.
