Adding or Managing School Requirements

School Admins can add or manage School Requirements for their students. You can choose from a set of Standard Clinical Requirements or you can add a custom requirement. 

 

Add a standard School Requirement

1. From the left navigation, select the Rotation Period and School from the drop-down menu. The Rotation Period filter will apply to all modules and screens.  

2. Expand the School Details section then choose Clinical Requirements.

3. On this page, select the School Requirements tab

4. Choose Add Standard Requirement and select from the list of requirements. Standard Requirements will apply to Students by default. Use the dropdown menu in the Applies To column to change this to Instructors or Students & Instructors.

 

Adding a custom School Requirement

You can add a custom School Requirement if it's not listed under the Standard Requirements list.

1. From the left hand navigation menu, go to School Details > Clinical Requirements

2. Choose Add Custom Requirement 

3. Complete the form fields in the pop-up window with your custom requirements:

  • Category: Select a Category for this requirement
  • Clinical Requirement Name: Enter a name for this requirement
  • Applies To: Choose whether this requirement should apply to instructors, students, or both
  • Instructions (Optional): Provide instructions for the individuals that need to meet this requirement
  • Tags (Optional): Include tags that will be visible to the individuals that need to meet this requirement

4. Click Save.

 

Modifying an existing School Requirement

You may need to modify the Category, Requirement Name (if Custom), who the requirement is applied to, or the tags for a requirement. 

1. From the left hand navigation menu, go to School Details > Clinical Requirements

2. Use the dropdown menu or edit the field of a requirement, as needed

3. Click the green Save button at the top to save your changes.

 

Remove an existing School Requirement

1. From the left hand navigation menu, go to School Details > Clinical Requirements

2. Choose the School Requirements tab

3. Click on a requirement to highlight it gray

4. Click the Remove button at the top

5. Choose Yes to confirm deleting the requirement

6. Click the Save button to save your changes
